Intro & Educational Style:
We’re a family of three and are just starting homeschooling our ten year old son. He’s currently learning French as his main focus. I’ll be following a curriculum but don’t have details yet, will update when I have a little experience. I adhere to the idea of learning by doing, computer based learning and a close connection to nature. I also want to base his learning around his interests of art and animals.
Who are you looking to network with, what activities do you do, etc.:
I’d love to connect with other families with kids his age. We will do field trips into the mountains around our town, studying first hand the flora and fauna. Also planning on trips to art museums and artisan workshops etc. We would like to find a music teacher as well.
